Bald Eagle Tracking Project - Weeks 46-47

All three immature bald eagles are back in the Chesapeake Bay area. Two were along the Potomac River in Virginia this week, while the other spent time on both the eastern and western shores of the Bay. Red began the week in North Carolina along the Pamlico River. She then moved north to Virginia Beach. On April 28, 2003, Red was in Maryland near Calvert Cliffs.

She ended the week in Dorchester County on Taylor's Island. Green spent the week near Quantico, Virginia and Yellow spent the week near Caledon along the shores of the Potomac River. . The preceeding text was provided by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
