After Christmas, she moved to the upper Rappahannock River in Virginia near Fort A. P. Hill. Yellow was still in the Daytona Beach area of Florida. Red started the period at Lake Kissimmee, then moved northeast to Lake Winder. She ended the week on Merritt Island, near Cape Canaveral. The preceeding text was provided by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Please visit our Eagle Map Gallery to see other maps of the eagle movements. The gallery contains maps of the eagle movements plotted on shaded relief maps that show local topography as well as eagle movements shown on a satellite image of the bay region which illustrates the types of landcover the eagles are living near.
