Blue moved between the Potomac River and the upper Rappahannock River in the vicinity of Fort A. P. Hill. Yellow was also along the Rappahannock River further down river. Red is still in North Carolina in the Tar River area. The preceeding text was provided by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Please visit our Eagle Map Gallery to see other maps of the eagle movements. The gallery contains maps of the eagle movements plotted on shaded relief maps that show local topography as well as eagle movements shown on a satellite image of the bay region which illustrates the types of landcover the eagles are living near.
