Bald Eagle Tracking Project - Week 12 The immature eagles were in southern Maryland or places further south this week. Green stayed in the Parkers Creek area of Calvert County for the eleventh week. Fishing there must be good. Red is also in Calvert County in the vicinity of Calvert Cliffs. Red moved there last week from Aberdeen Proving Ground. Blue moved back into Maryland from Virginia and spent much of this week frequenting the shorelines of the Potomac River in both states. |

Yellow is still in North Carolina in the Lake Gaston area, where she has been since August 4. The preceeding text was provided by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Please visit our Eagle Map Gallery to see other maps of the eagle movements. The gallery contains maps of the eagle movements plotted on shaded relief maps that show local topography as well as eagle movements shown on a satellite image of the bay region which illustrates the types of landcover the eagles are living near.
