Bald Eagle Tracking Project - August 2004

In August, Green remained pretty much stationary along the Rappahannock river, where she has been for several months. Red moved out of here summer home on the Sassafrass River in mid august and spent the latter half of the month across the bay just outside Havre de Grace. Yellow continued to move back and forth along the Roanoke River in North Carolina.

Pease visit our Eagle Map Gallery to see other maps of the eagle movements. The gallery contains maps of the eagle movements plotted on shaded relief maps that show local topography as well as eagle movements shown on a satellite image of the bay region which illustrates the types of landcover the eagles are living near.
